Everyday, thousands of unwanted litters are born. Many of them do not survive. This is stray mama dog Sitti’s story.
Despite her being the aloof dog that she is to everyone including her strayfeeder who has been feeding her for 6 months now, she cried and cried to her until she understood that Sitti needed help. After more than 30 minutes of trying to decipher what she wanted to say, Sitti stood up and led her to the bushes where her 2 litters were. Both of her litters died and she never wanted to leave her side.
They stayed with her and when she realized that both her puppies were really gone already, she even buried them herself..
But atleast, she is now safe. This is why we really need more strayfeeders whom we can tap for the spaying and neutering of more strays because the strays are the ones who really need it the most.
This is why we need everyone’s help and we need more benefactors for spay and neuter drives so we can help prevent more deaths.
Donations for Sitti’s recovery are welcome and pledges for spay and neuter drives are very much encouraged. Sitti will be spayed as soon as she is done with her medications and she will be part of the family at Balay Pawssion.
