My Story:

Imagine being old, skinny, homeless, with poor vision, homeless yet hungry….

And because you’re too hungry, you still continue to look for food out there in the streets until you fell into a pit. What may be very heartbreaking to a lot of people is still a blessing to you because even if you fell there, there’s still some food in the garbage… 💔

Thankfully, this senior dog was seen by a strayfeeder and was reported to us animal advocates. He was rescued by the guard of Valley of Peace when a fellow animal advocate brought this to the attention of Valley of Peace. We offered to shelter him once he is done with the vet care he needs.

We named him Pax, latin for Peace.

Pax is very sweet and trusting despite everything he went through and I have no words to describe what I felt when I came to see him at the vet today.

Life is short. Let us choose to be kind to the voiceless especially the homeless.
