My Story:

Meet Leo, our newest rescue.

He was a victim of hit and run and was found by one of the volunteers of @awit_cats along Leon Guinto at Malate Manila. Leo dragged himself to the side of the street even while he was in so much pain. He got lucky that the volunteers of @awit_cats did not settle with just feeding him. They called for help and @masarapba posted about Leo’s case and then tagged us. Through the help of brgy tanod ate Negra, Leo was pulled out from under the jeepney where he was already shivering from being soaked in water and mud. So grateful to ate Negra who stayed with Leo until we arrived to rescue him.

We thank the staff of St Francis clinic for waiting for us till around 11PM So Leo may be accommodated right away and be given first aid. We are awaiting for the result of the Xray done today for us to know the next step. But it looks like he has a dislocated bone and has a wound from dragging himself. He looks healthy nonetheless and we think he may have an owner.

We just feel sorry for Leo that he had to go through that. He could have died from the accident.
