Raffy was reported to the team last March 2021 after someone found him under a garbage truck, weak and wounded. He was an abandoned dog, left alone by the river in Brgy. San Rafael Navotas. As per the reporter, a garbage collector found Raffy the previous day and then placed him there for safety. Raffy looked so lost and lonely, hungry and sick. And while we have our hands full, it was just so hard to turn a blind eye knowing we can actually do something.
Raffy is now staying at the Bulacan Shelter for his rehabilitation. After many, many, many baths (it was actually grease that was covering his fur!!) and some TLC, Raffy is slowly coming out of his shell! As we always say, rescues are always worth it and we will continue to hold on to it!
P.S. Raffy already has an adopter waiting for him!
