March Update:

There are no bad dogs, just bad people and bad environment.

Our rescued Chowchow, Jordan is now at the shelter, and he is very happy and very much loved! Aggressive Jordan no more! He’a gained so much weight already, on supplements and will be vaccinated already this weekend.

One of our followers who sponsored Jordan came to visit him at the shelter and she was so happy to see Jordan and the rest of our rescues. At present, we see the presence of the other rescues as a big factor in his rehabilitation, as well as that of Shadow’s. She has expressed her intent to continuously support Jordan while he is at the shelter, which makes all of us happy because it means we can still continue to love and care for him. And all of you too when you come visit the shelter!

Indeed, love heals. 🐶🤍

My Story:

Jordan, along with his fur brother Shadow, was rescued last February 2021 after their situation was posted on one of the groups on Facebook yesterday. Jordan and Shadow are two precious dogs that were abandoned and neglected, left to waste away in their cages after their owners left for the States. As per the reporter, the caretaker can no longer take care of them, especially after their owners gave permission to just give them away. They were in really bad shape, the poor dogs must have been caged for so long, and probably even hurt too, as the team had a hard time taking them out. Despite Jordan’s terrible and heartbreaking situation, he was defensive, aggressive but scared at the same time.

Health Situation:

  • severly anemic
  • blood parasitism
  • low platelets
  • severly malnourished
  • low proteins due to decreased appetite
  • positive: heartworm
  • faint positive: ehrlichia

After being confined at the vet for 2 weeks, Jordan is now improving quiet well and is now ready for discharge. He would still need to continue with oral medications upon release from the vet.
